Our Services
Continuing Care Retirement Communities provide their residents with multiple levels of living which include independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. CCRCs exist to allow their residents to “age in place,” which means that they are able to live in the residence of their choice, as long as they are able, as they age.
In general, assisted living is a form of residential living with staff members who help residents with activities of daily living. That is a broad description, but because states take a variety of approaches in establishing standards, a lot of variations exist.
One thing that usually distinguishes assisted living from independent living is on-site 24-hour assistance available in the form of caregivers or nurses if a resident needs immediate help due to the status of his or her health. If a person is currently unable—either physically or cognitively—to navigate the daily tasks required to function successfully and safely.
Our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation facilities provide around-the-clock care and supervision to short-term and long-term residents. Short-term residents receive sub-acute rehabilitation therapy after joint replacement surgery, strokes, reconditioning and a number of other diagnoses with the intent of returning to the community. Long-term residents are admitted for permanent placement when they have a skilled nursing need that requires 24/7 supervision.
Our Adult Day Health Services programs bring together seniors who would otherwise be isolated in their homes and provide them with nutritious meals, snacks and a variety of socially engaging activities. Our Medical Adult Day program gives seniors access to our excellent health care programs.
